We  are committed to supporting aspiring chefs by giving them a venue to hone their craft.

Tuesday - Thursday (6pm - Midnight)

CAFE MEMMI is the combined passion of Amos Arinda and Sarah Mays who both hail from Zingerman's here in Ann Arbor. The Memmi name is inspired by Jewish-Tunisian writer Albert Memmi, combining their culinary heritage at Zingerman's with their newly-found passion for the French/Mediterranean influenced cuisine of Tunisia .

Incredible time and care is taken with these complex, yet approachable dishes. Rich, full flavors accentuated by bright citrus and an abundance of fresh herbs and spices creates comfort food for all seasons.

Sunday (6pm-11pm)

SAN STREET by Ji Hye Kim who currently owns a food-cart at Ann Arbor's Mark's Carts. Her food here at the bar is a little less street-food and a little more toward the center of the plate. Ji Hye's passion stems from her desire to duplicate dishes from her Korean heritage.  She travels as often as possible to experience new dishes for inspiration. A fine balance of spice and bold flavors that are bent toward umami. There are no other Korean dishes like these in town.

Every Tuesday is MOVIE NIGHT!

November:

Tuesday November 4th: "Metropolis" (1927). The ground breaking view of a dystopian future by Fritz Lang. Sci-Fi elements and commentary on labor in the Industrial age. (153 min.) (There will be an intermission)

Tuesday November 11th: Abbot & Costello in "Jack and the Beanstalk" (1952). A childhood favorite of mine. The pastel color palette adds to the fantasy. A classically funny take on the 19th century classic. (81 min.)

Tuesday November 18th: "Rescue from Gilligan's Island" (1978). A last-ditch money grab from the Gilligan's Island franchise. So bad it's good, and, well, bad. (94 min.)

Tuesday November 25th: "The Empire Strikes Back Uncut" (2014). A patchwork of fan-made scenes using animation, claymation and live-action to recreate the Sci-Fi classic. Funny and incredibly entertaining. (128  min.)
